Lost in Taboo is an attempt by the artist to understand how her life has been affected by depression by presenting the process by which it takes and the day to day reality.
The pages are French-folded, perforated and sewn shut using Japanese stab-stitch. each page must be seperated by the reader by hand, or paper opener, in order to expose the text and images within, this is a reference to the way in which depression can be hidden from others but always beneath the surface.
